Gal4Xeon is a 4X roll and write game where you explore, expand, exploit and exterminate your way across the galaxy in about 30 minutes! It’s fairly multi-player solitaire, with all players starting with the same setup and using the same three dice each round, but how you use them will determine who is most successful in spreading across their galaxy and getting the highest score. If that sounds like your jam, you can follow the campaign using the link!

Each turn players are simultaneously rolling dice to set aside as fast as they can to land the correct combo. But be sure to set the dice in the right order or it doesn’t count.
Set aside 3 of a kind to add another die to your pool, then keep rolling. Crazy characters fill the page and taunt you with each missed roll. If you get the KO first you max out the points, but if you’re the last of the group you’ll get nothing!
Mind the depleting health bar as well, if you fail too many times your game will be over. No Continue? screens here. It’ll be GAME OVER! Race to the top of the sheet and you could be the winner! Scores are tallied at the end, even a player who was KO’d themselves might still come out on top!

The Stormlamp Rituals, Volume I is a beautiful puzzle book created by Jack Fallows, co-author and illustrator of The Light in the Mist. Travel along with Anna, a young witch exploring a mysterious world touched by magic. Read the story, examine illustrations, and solve puzzles page-by-page to progress further in the adventure.
The Stormlamp Rituals is a compilation of the episodic series previously titled Cryptogram Puzzle Post. It also includes additional puzzle and story materials, as well as hints and solutions, for a fully-offline immersive experience.

In February I was fortunate enough to get a spot at “To Boldy Game” at the National Space Centre and had an absolute blast. To exhibit my games in such a fantastic venue was a real treat and Fetching Feathers went down really well with the visitors that weekend. Was also great to be able to hang out with other Indie publishers again, including Nikita of course, and I’m really looking forward to doing it again at Airecon in a few weeks.
And on that note, after ironing out a few production issues, by the time this newsletter goes live both D.O.T and Fetching Feathers should be on the way from the factory to the fulfilment centre in the UK. It was a big relief to get this signed off and as long as we don’t get any boats stuck in the Suez canal (again) then I should have the games ready to go to backers in May, and ready to sell at UKGE.

My next event, as hinted above, will be Airecon though, where I will have a table in the Demo area. I’ll be bringing both production versions of D.O.T and Fetching Feathers and possibly a few prototypes too so please do swing by for a game if you’re also heading to Harrogate in March.
For now though, enjoy the Spring flowers and I’ll see a bunch of you soon.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been receiving photos, messages and kind words from families and friends enjoying the game together. Hearing that Fight For Inheritance is creating laughter, playful rivalry and memorable moments around the table is exactly why we started this journey in the first place. As a small, family-run publisher, those messages mean more to us than we can properly express.
Last month brought another huge milestone for us – our very first direct order through our website. It might seem like a small step, but for an indie developer it felt massive. It was proof that people are discovering and choosing our game beyond the Kickstarter community.

We even shared an excited behind-the-scenes reel on Instagram of me and my family packing up that order (with a few little extras included, of course!). If you’d like to see the moment, you can find it over on our Instagram page.
But we haven’t been resting on the success of Fight For Inheritance. Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work developing something new. Our next game has been in playtesting for a while now, and it’s been evolving with every session. We’re genuinely excited about where it’s heading and can’t wait to start sharing more.
We’ll be releasing a teaser and more details later this year, so if you’d like to be among the first to hear about it, make sure you’re following us on Instagram and signed up to our newsletter. There’s plenty more to come from Red Cannon Games — and we’re so grateful to have you on this journey with us.

My husband demoed for me, we worked out how to do mini demos where the game is already set up one or two rounds through the game, we then teach how to play and play a round with them to demonstrate how the game plays and what kinds of choices they will be making throughout the game.
I’m already looking forward to the UK Games Expo, what displays will I change and upgrade? What’s the best way to present Malus Hortus to really show it off. I have some plans for some decorative mushrooms, flowers and foliage to display around the box and demo table.

This all means you can of course purchase Malus Hortus from the link below or the shop on this very website. Along with the 17 art prints from the game which are now available with discounts applied for multiples. If you didn’t get a chance to check out Malus Hortus whilst It was on Kickstarter please do give it a look, a lot of love has gone into making it the best game I possibly could.
Elemental Sprite Plushies – The campaign ended successfully and I have started fulfilment, making all the adorable little plushies has been wonderful. The enamel pins I’m having made will arrived in April so I will be able to fulfil pledges containing those by the end of April. I’m really looking forward to having some gaming enamel pins to bring along for UKGE.
